I'm doing lift and I would like to use my usb cable to play the music to my clients without interrupting the sound with google maps turn by turn indications. I have my Bluetooth device for that. But either hear both things on one or the other.

You should be able to do this. Just connect and play your music via USB like you said, then in Google Maps, after you start directions, hit the three-dot button at the bottom next to the estimate time. Then, select "Navigation settings," and make sure "Play voice over Bluetooth" is checked and that you're connected to the right Bluetooth device.
If that doesn't work, you can try Apple Maps instead. Just start directions, then tap the Bluetooth icon in the bottom right and make sure the input is correctly set.
Have you figured this out yet!! I'm having the same issue.
