You will need to restore the device to factory settings to regain access to your iPhone. This will erase all the data on the device. However, if you have set up the back-up via iCloud or iTunes you can restore to that.
Step 1: DFU mode
Hold the power and home button until the screen goes black.
Release the power button and continue to hold the home button for 10 seconds.
The device will remain powered off.
Step 2: Connect to iTunes
Connect your iPhone to you computer and open iTunes.
iTunes will recognize the iPhone in DFU mode and ask if you would like to restore. Follow the restore steps and enjoy you device again.
Step 3: Remember you Passcode!
How do I unlock the sreen with out knowing to the pass word?
You can't do it yourself, but can try taking it in to an Apple Store.
