I want to delete a contact from my iPhone 4S that is stored in text cache. Have deleted the contact from my phone, but I can still access the number from my text when I go to write new text and type the deleted contact's name in.

I haven't been able to replicate this issue, but I'd imagine if you give it some time, it'll go away eventually.
