Plug your iPhone into your computer and connect to iTunes. From there, you can make a backup to the Cloud or to the computer. Want to be safe? Back up to both.
Also, when you get your new iPhone, just plug it in and it will ask if you'd like to restore it, which you do. That should work, but let me know.
