iPhone Quick Tip: Jump to the Bottom of Photo Albums in One Tap

Gallery of celestial-themed images displayed on a smartphone screen.

With the sheer number of pictures stored on my iPhone, using the tap gesture on the status bar is extremely convenient and time-saving when I want to reach the beginning of my Camera Roll album in the Photos app.

With just a quick tap, you can have your iOS device automatically scroll to the top of the page, but instantly scrolling back down isn't as easy. That is, unless you know this secret Photos app trick.

When you're in your Camera Roll, or any other Photos album, and you want to quickly jump back down to the most recent images you have, all you have to do is tap the "Albums" icon located at the bottom of the page.

Alternatively, if in the Moments or Collections view, you can get to the bottom just as fast by tapping the "Photos" icon instead.

Although this isn't a monumental tip that'll change how you use your iPhone, it is worth knowing, just like the trick for turning the flashlight off faster, getting Spock's famous Vulcan salute as an emoji, or even hiding the Apple Watch app.
