If you have no intention of getting personalized engravings on your AirTags, you don't need to shop on the Apple Store unless you have an Apple Card you want to earn Daily Cash with. Best Buy. Target. Adorama. B&H Photo. All of those places will let you preorder AirTags now but so does Amazon, America's second-biggest retailer, a good choice whether you have Amazon Prime or not.

If you have Amazon Prime, you can get free two-day shipping on AirTags, which beats Apple's current three to five days estimate for many delivery addresses. You can even get 2% to 5% cashback with your Amazon Secured Card, Amazon Store Card, or another Amazon-affiliated credit card. If you don't have Prime, the free shipping estimate expands to five or six days, so be aware of that.

No matter where you get your AirTags, the price should be consistent at $29 for a single AirTag or $99 for a four-pack. Preorders are live now, but AirTag won't be officially released until April 30, which is also the day we expect iOS 14.5 to show up, which is needed on your iPhone to track AirTags in the Find My app.
