Score a New iPhone for Cheap with These Black Friday Deals from Walmart, Best Buy & More

After you've spent your Thanksgiving afternoon working through that turkey, mashed potatoes, and three different kinds of pie, you might find yourself heading to the mall to claim some unbeatable Black Friday discounts on iPhone 11, 11 Pro, and 11 Pro Max. You don't have to go in blind, though. Check out our guide below to make sure you're saving as much as possible on the iPhone you really want.

We'll be keeping an eye on the retail space to ensure we cover all the best iPhone deals stores have to offer. Many locations already have their Black Friday deals printed and announced, while some offer pre-holiday discounts you can take advantage of right now.

Get Up to $700 in eGift Cards at Walmart

Walmart isn't pulling punches this Black Friday. With the right moves, you could be walking away with a brand new iPhone and $700 in eGift cards. How? Well, Walmart is offering up to $450 when buying an eligible iPhone, plus up to $250 when trading in an iPhone 8 Plus (256 GB) or newer, or a Samsung Note 9 (512 GB) or newer. Both trade-in devices need to be from AT&T or Verizon.

Walmart is opening up its offer to AT&T Next, Sprint, and Verizon device payment plans. This promotion is good from Nov. 28 to Dec. 1.

Looking for something a bit lighter on the wallet? Walmart is also offering $50 off the iPhone 6S Plus (32 GB), which normally runs for $199. The promotion is through Straight Talk Wireless and Total Wireless. This deal is good online starting Nov. 27 at 10 p.m. EST. In-store starts Nov. 28 at 6 p.m. EST, and the deal ends Nov. 29.

Save Up to $500 at Best Buy

If you're in the market for a brand-new iPhone 11, 11 Pro, or 11 Pro Max, look no further than Best Buy. The retail giant has the latest iPhones for up to $500 off. The catch? You'll need to activate your new iPhone in-store, and you'll need to trade-in a qualifying iPhone as well. Like Walmart, this deal is open to Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint, but not T-Mobile.

If you don't have an iPhone to trade in, consider Best Buy's iPhone 8 and 8 Plus deal, starting at $9.99 a month. Best Buy's Black Friday deals are available between Nov. 28 and Nov. 30.

Get $200 Target Gift Card with iPhone Purchase

If you're a regular Target shopper, you might be interested in their Black Friday iPhone deal. The company is offering a $200 gift card with the purchase and activation of not only the 2019 suite of iPhones, but also the iPhone XS and XS Max (sorry, no XR). If you're looking to save a little extra dough on a new iPhone this holiday season, last year's models might be a good option for you here.

In order to take advantage of the offer, you'll need to activate your new iPhone with a Verizon device payment or AT&T Next plan. If you're rocking a Sprint or T-Mobile plan, unfortunately, you won't be eligible.

This deal is good starting at 7 a.m. local time on Nov. 29 through Dec. 1, in-store only.

Big Savings on Older iPhones at eBay

If it's options you want, you'll find them with eBay. The infamous online store has an extensive catalog of iPhones listed at huge discounts right now. Just be careful not to get too suckered into a deal. It seems eBay is using some outdated MSRPs when comparing price cuts, making discounts look bigger than they are. While $549.99 is a decent price for a 256 GB iPhone X, nobody is selling it at $1,329 anymore.

We can't list every iPhone deal eBay offers for two reasons. There's way too many of them, and eBay is always updating its selections. We've highlighted a few really good deals we've found if you'd like a sneak peak:

We'll keep updating this page as we find more deals. We're particularly interested in Amazon's Black Friday deals, and we'll put those right up top when they're out. In the meantime, get a jump on holiday shopping for your more artistic loved ones with our filmmakers' gift guide below.
