The update to iOS 8.0.2 fixes the issues with cell signal and Touch ID, as well as the the previous bugs 8.0.1 aimed to squash. No matter if you took the update and have had a de facto iPod the past 24+ hours, or whether you reverted back to iOS 8.0, you'll want to install this update pronto.

Head to Settings -> General -> Software Update to grab the over the air update. We've done this on both our iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, as well as iPhone 5S and 5—all is well in iOS land.

The next big software update for iPhone is coming sometime in April and will include a Food section in Apple News+, an easy-to-miss new Ambient Music app, Priority Notifications thanks to Apple Intelligence, and updates to apps like Mail, Photos, Podcasts, and Safari. See what else is coming to your iPhone with the iOS 18.4 update.
