Apple Releases iOS 14.7 Beta 5 to Developers & Public Testers

Apple released the fifth iOS 14.7 betas to developers and public testers today, Thursday, July 8. The update appears to be minor, adding new splash screens when opening Reminders and Podcasts for the first time.

Apple actually released this update to developers and public beta testers at the same time today — the company seeded the update at 1 p.m. PDT, which is usual for public beta updates, but a bit unusual for developers updates. Apple typically seeds developers new updates at 10 a.m. PDT, and follows up with the public beta three to 24 hours later.
