Apple Releases iOS 14.4.1 for iPhone, Includes New Security Fixes

Apple just released iOS 14.4.1 for iPhone today, Monday, Mar. 8. The event marks 41 days since Apple released a public update for iPhones, with iOS 14.4 back on Jan. 26.

Apple released this update at 10 a.m. PDT, the company's standard release time for iOS updates. According to the security notes, iOS 14.4.1 adds new security fixes to iPhones. That means all compatible iPhones should update as soon as possible to patch those issues.

Apple also released iPadOS 14.4.1, watchOS 7.3.2, and macOS 11.2.3.

To download this latest update, open the Settings app on your compatible iPhone, then head to General -> Software Updates. Allow the page to load, then follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the software.
