Apple's iOS 13.6 Public Beta 3 Adds Minor Updates for iPhone

Apple just released the third public beta for iOS 13.6 today, Tuesday, June 30. This update comes three hours after the release of iOS 13.6 dev beta 3, which is the version of the beta made specifically for developers. Both betas come eight days after Apple released the first developer beta for iOS 14.

Apple released this update at 1 p.m. PDT, as expected. The company usually releases public betas three hours after the developer beta, which came out at 10 a.m. PDT today. That said, sometimes Apple makes us public testers wait a bit longer, opting instead to release a public beta at 10 a.m. PDT the following day.

At this time, it doesn't appear public beta 3 adds much in the way of new features or changes. Likely, Apple is using this update to stabilize 13.6 as a whole, and tighten up any buggy areas in anticipation of a public release. While it might not be as "in" as iOS 14, iOS 13.6 adds some cool new features to the mix, including a symptoms tracker in Health, Car Key API, and an option to automatically download new updates.
